What is the truth about dreads/locks/nappy hair? This is your opportunity to educate: www.dontdreadmylocks.com/webblog

Q.  Do only people of color dread or loc there hair?

 A. No, dreads/locks are universal and there are many races and cultures that dread/lock there hair.

 Q. What’s the difference between dreadlocks and loc’s?

A.  The difference lies in the way you choose to grow your hair. Dreads are natural at best it’s considered to be the organic way that one hairs grows without any manipulation. On the other hand Locs are cultivated, meaning a crotchet tool is used to control the look/style of ones hair.  A more professional grooming some would say.

Q.  Can you wash your dreads or locs?

A.  Sure you can, it helps the locking process. It’s a lie and myth that has been passed down that dreads/locs are very dirty and natsy looking. If your hair is dirty it’s because your allowed it to be. No excuses
